First, I talk about the state of mass deportations. I review some immigration-related news and consider what, if anything, Trump could do to take the deportations to the next level. I talk about the stupidity of the online right for a bit. Did I go too far? I then watch a viral clip in which a woman warns other women to guard against negging.
In the second half of the show, I watch a recent clip in which Barack Obama claims that letting women run the world for two years would make things better. Does he really mean what he says? I explain why Obama is a cynical, cunning operator. I then switch gears to cover Nikole Hannah-Jones’s latest NYT piece, in which she recounts – and ultimately laments – her decision to place her (mostly) black daughter in black public schools. It’s a fascinating tale, one that concludes with Jones accepting the truths of human biodiversity and swearing an oath of undying loyalty to Nathan Cofnas. Not really. But I do examine her motivations, copes, and inaccuracies, and offer my own explanation for dysfunctional American schools. (You’ll never guess what that is.)
