Trump Federalizes the D.C. Police

Restoring Order - EP 337
1

On this episode of Restoring Order, I provide some immigration white-pills, explore President Trump’s recent decision to federalize MPD, and take a look at what the data says about crime in the nation’s capital.

I start off by discussing a recent report from the Center for Immigration Studies, which reveals a 2.2 million decline in the foreign-born population. I explain why this is the direct result of Trump’s policies – and why we’re just getting started. I then refute the myth that Obama deported tons of illegals. Shifting gears, I recap what transpired last week with the attack on Big Balls. I then explain what Trump has done in the wake of that attack, including his decision to take control of D.C. police. This leads to a question: Why is the left so opposed to law and order? I discuss some of the dynamics at play. Toward the end of the first half, I watch some TikToks from D.C. locals, who are quite shocked by this turn of events.

In the second half (available to subscribers), I take a look at the left’s response to the federalization of MPD. I review a recent piece from Robert Reich, in which he argues that Trump’s move to federalize MPD is a test run for taking over the country. Clearly, he’s nuts. But then again, Trump did float the idea of doing similar things elsewhere, in cities like Chicago. Moving along, some argue that crime in D.C. isn’t that bad. I examine the data. But can we trust it? After all, a D.C. police commander was fired in May for undercounting certain felonies. Tune in to find out the truth about crime in the nation’s capital.
