On this episode of Restoring Order, I discuss the National Guard shooting, MTG’s crashout, Tucker’s pro-Muslim statements, and much more.
First, I discuss the Afghan national responsible for killing one National Guardsman and critically injuring another. I then outline why national building was arguably the worst aspect of neoconservative foreign policy. I discuss Trump’s response to the shooting and explain why America needs an immigration moratorium. I then argue that, while Trump winning in 2024 was undeniably beneficial for the right, we need whoever succeeds him to be even more right-wing. Toward the end of the first half, I begin my discussion of Marjorie Taylor Green’s incredible crashout.
In the second half of the show, available to subscribers, I explain the real reasons why MTG turned on Trump – and why it’s a good thing she’s on her way out. I then consider why people who get really into anti-Semitism wind up going insane and/or moving leftward. Given that there are valid critiques of US-Israel policy and some Jewish organizations, I view this as a problem and encourage people to stop losing their minds. Later, I review Tucker’s comments about Muslims and explain why Pakistani cab drivers are not a constituency worth courting. In the spirit of charitability, I concede that there is a certain strain of pro-Israel conservatism that is only concerned with mass immigration when it involves Muslims. I critique this position, but remind the audience that one needn’t subscribe to that view to take issue with Muslim immigration. Toward the end of the show, I explain why Academic Agent’s position on Muslims is incorrect. Patriots are not forced to choose between opposing migrants or the elites who import them – we can and should do both.
