Note: There’s no paywall on this episode because my recording software picked up my webcam mic and Perry’s computer died halfway through. It’s still perfectly listenable, but I didn’t feel that paywalling it would be right.
Perry returns to the show to discuss the recent online campaign against the ADL and SPLC, which he spearheaded.
First, Perry clears the air, explaining that the chirping sound coming from his office is not coming from his smoke detector. He then rates my new webcam and studio setup. Next, we move on to the main topic, with Perry recapping the last few weeks on Twitter. Perry explains how he got the ball rolling on the anti-ADL stuff, which leads toa discussion on the nature of the organization. While it purports to be nonpartisan, it enforces regime (left-wing) ideology. Later, we consider whether an end to the Gaza war will hurt the right by unifying the left. We conclude – rather abruptly, thanks to technical difficulties – by discussing the recent hits the SPLC has taken as well.
